Happy 4th of July!

Piper enjoyed her first fireworks display. The loud booming didn't seem to bother her, she really enjoyed all the colors and all the kids around us yelling in excitement.

We patiently waited for the fireworks and luckily the storms that blew through stopped long enough for the fireworks. Piper slept up until right before the fireworks began. All the fireworks people were setting off in the parking lot didn't wake her! I became addicted to Piper's yogurt melt snacks while waiting, Joel and I were not smart enough to bring snacks or Starbuck's coffee that everyone around us had...

Family fun!

We enjoyed a fun weekend with Grandma Kay, Uncle Bob, Aunt Sam, and cousin Yasmine! Yasmine raced in the Dead Dog Classic bike race in Laramie and did great! She came in 2nd place in her division. It was a busy weekend and Piper enjoyed all the attention and being out in the wonderful weather.

She learned to lift herself up on the edge of the crib. I had to lower the mattress so she wouldn't keep doing this. I can't believe I already have to try to keep her in the crib....she is a fiesty little one.

Swimming...sort of

We visited the community pool for a dip in the kiddy pool. It was packed and very loud so Piper wasn't crazy about it ( I wasn't either) She likes the water so we may try to go at a different time.

Library time

Piper making friends at her weekly lap read at the local library. We read books then the babies get to sit and play. She is becoming quite the social butterfly!!
